Collette is a member of the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribe and descendant of the Navajo Nation. Passionate about utilizing multidisciplinary expertise & public speaking background to influence tribal affairs while delivering optimal business results. Earned a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from Salish Kootenai College in Pablo, Montana and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
With 20+ years of experience as a project management & program development leader focused on natural resource development and tribal affairs, she has been integral to executing complex problem solving, resource management, and establishing organizational cohesion to engage tribes across North America. She has experience in uranium mine reclamation, coal, oil & gas, and base metals mining operations and project development.
Currently she is the Director, Community and Tribal Relations for Avantus (Formerly 8minute Solar) company.  She also serves as one of the Independent Directors of Apollo Silver a silver exploration and resource development company based in Vancouver.
